DR. MATT KANAAN, Duke Sports Medicine Trained Physician
Matthew Kanaan DO, MS grew up in Raleigh NC as a child before moving to Florida. After returning to Raleigh with his wife for training at Duke, they decided to stay and build a family here. Dr Kanaan is a board-certified non-surgical sports medicine and regenerative medicine specialist. Dr. Kanaan is passionate about sports medicine and has been performing PRP / Stem Cell injections for the last 11 years. During his training at Duke Medical Center, he served as an assistant team physician for Duke football, basketball, and lacrosse, in addition to assisting with the Elon University football team’s medical needs. He has published many research projects to advance the field of regenerative medicine. He is passionate about finding new, cutting-edge ways to help patients return to the activities they love through nonsurgical treatments. Dr. Kanaan has performed over 50,000 Ultrasound Guided Procedures in the last 10+ years. Dr Kanaan enjoys playing tennis, and traveling with his family.
